Spring orders for new blocks on the Perham Area Angel of Hope Memorial Park memory walls are open now.
The idea for the park was born from the deepest grief any parent, sibling, grandparent, extended family or friend could ever feel: the death of our child, your child, too many children. The park, located at the corner of Third Avenue and Sixth Avenue Northeast was dedicated on Sept. 24, 2004.
The names on the memory walls are the names of children of all ages. It is a special place to grieve, hope, heal and to remember and celebrate the lives of lost children.

Each spring and fall, new memory blocks are added to the walls at the park. It is time for the spring orders to be sent in. The order deadline is May 1.
Brochures are available at the Chamber of Commerce or from anyone on the Angel of Hope Committee. The order form for a memory block is on the brochure. The cost for a memory block is $200. Each block includes three lines of information.
The committee is always happy to receive help from anyone who loves gardening and has the skills necessary to keep the flower gardens at the park clean. They also welcome volunteers to help with cleanup of the beds in the fall, snow removal in the winter months and with the Annual Candlelight Vigil every Dec. 6 at 7 p.m.

The Angel of Hope Committee would like to thank everyone in the Perham Lakes Area for their ongoing support of the Angel of Hope Memorial Park.
