Lions District 5M9 has announced the appointment of Donald Hendrickx as District Governor for 2013-2014.
Hendrickx and his wife, Pat Hendrickx, who is also a Lion, recently returned from the 96th Lions International Convention held in Hamburg, Germany, where he was inducted as District Governor.
A member of the Perham Lakes Lions, Donald Hendrickx has been a Lion for 28 years. He has held many offices at several levels within the Lions organization. He will now oversee the 68 clubs that are in District 5M9, and will be on the Council of Governors in MD5M.
Also on the District Governor team is 1st Vice District Governor Gloria Anderson, of Wadena, and 2nd Vice District Governor Jay Norby, from Perham.
