The 16th annual Dreams for Kids bike and car run is returning to Perham on Saturday, Sept. 11. Founded in 2006, this group raises funds for Make-A-Wish.
This year's ride will start with registration and breakfast served with the Perham Fire Department at Silvermoon Lounge & Restaurant, 1121 W Main St. in Perham, from 9-11 a.m. Proceeds will be split between Dreams for Kids and the Fire Department.
The bike and car ride, a popsicle Wish Run, will start at 11 a.m. with the singing of the national anthem. Participants can gather up to 12 popsicle sticks along the route, which will make them eligible for a special prize when they return to Silvermoon at 3 p.m. for dinner and a raffle.

Dreams for Kids also encourages the community to attend the Perham Fire Department's Food-N-Fun event, which will take place at the Perham Lakeside Gold Club, located at 2727 450th St., from 5-8:30 p.m. With the purchase of a $40 ticket, attendees will receive a meal and prizes.
