The city of Perham will host its 11th annual Harvest Fest Saturday, Sept. 24, with lots of family activities at various sites around town.
Among the scheduled activities are a farmers market from 8 a.m. to noon, face painting all day, Farmer's Equity Society Lumber Yard tours at Ma's Little Red Barn, trolley rides from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with pick-ups at the Chamber office and Ma's Little Red Barn, which is sponsoring the free rides, pumpkin bowling and ring toss at NP Park; inflatables for kids from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., a corn pool with prizes all day at Goose Gang, and free mini caramel apple pops all day. Toss Sisson will provide live music from 10 a.m to 2 p.m.
A community barbecue of pulled pork sandwiches, beans, chips and a beverage will be served from 11a.m. to 2 p.m. on Main Street. A donation for the meal will benefit community events.
Disgruntled Daze will feature live bands, a 5K beer run and more.
The annual festival is hosted by the Perham Events Committee, with support from many city businesses.
