‘Scramble for a Cure’ raises $8K

This year’s “Scramble for a Cure,” an annual Ladies Invitational at Balmoral Golf Course south of Ottertail, raised more than $8,000, which will be split between the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the Lake Region Cancer Center in Fergus Falls, and a private individual battling cancer.

Teams of golfers got dressed up for the event, in hopes of winning the Best Outfits Challenge. Many local businesses and individuals helped support the cause.
