Fraud, collections position approved

A motion by county commissioner John Lindquist of Dalton and seconded by Commissioner Betty Murphy of Maine Township was unanimously carried to approve one Full Time Equivalent fraud and collections support specialist position for Otter Tail County.

The upcoming retirement of the lead investigator will provide for restructuring, which will include replacing the lead investigator position with a fraud and collections support specialist.

The county will also contract with local law enforcement to provide additional support to the unit.
