Lake Park: At Lake Park Lutheran Church 2002 2nd St. All women are invited to attend the WELCA Conference 6 Spring Gathering. Pastor Rod Spidahl will be the speaker. A lunch will be served. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. Cost is $10.00.

Father daughter dance

Perham: At Heart of the Lakes Elementary. Games, crafts, pampering, photo booth and light refreshments. 3:30 p.m. registration. 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. social. 4:30 p.m. grand march. 5 - 6 p.m. dance. $15 per couple, $5 per additional daughter. Suggested ages 3-years-old to 12-years-old. Moms and family welcome to attend the grand march.

Red River Valley Veterans Concert Band

Perham: At the Perham Center for the Arts. The Red River Valley Veteran's Concert Band is an all-volunteer, non-profit concert band whose mission is to promote patriotism through music. Free will donation. Show starts at 8:15 p.m. The RRVVCB will also perform at Perham Living at 7:00 p.m.

DIY Memorial Pots

Perham: At Hadley House. 5 to 7 p.m. A creative outlet for grief, join for a session of creativity and remembrance as we create do-it-yourself memorial pots. Class will feature a local master gardener who will guide attendees through the creation of a beautiful flower pot. Attendees with also learn ways to cope with grief and important self-care strategies with others who have experienced a similar loss through death. Breaking Barriers

Perham: At Perham High School. A mental health awareness event, a chance to learn about mental health, the variety of services available in the area and the tough realities of suicide. This free event will help educate the community and increase knowledge and understanding about mental illness. Booths open at 6 p.m. Keynote speaker Chris Caulkins begins at 7 p.m.

Monthly food shelf fundraisers at Pizza Ranch

Perham: From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. the first Monday of every month. Tell the cashier when you order that you are there for the fundraiser; your receipt is your donation to the local food shelf. Sponsored by the Eastern Star Olive Branch Chapter.

Pregnancy and infant loss support group

Detroit Lakes: From 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. the third Thursday of each month at Hospice of the Red River Valley. For anyone who has experienced the death of a baby through pregnancy loss, stillbirth or in the first year of life. 1111 Highway 10, Detroit Lakes, Minn.
