National 4-H Week was celebrated Oct. 3-Oct. 9, giving East Otter Tail 4-H families the chance to reflect on how 4-H affects their lives.
The band of Eric Roggenkamp of Bluffton and Larry Selander of New York Mills plays everything by their expert ears along with the fun of experimenting.
The crowds of people brought long lines for practically everything from the rides to food, bathrooms and the demo derby event on Saturday night. And for the first time in 10 years, the heat didn't include calling for health help though a few kids were overheated.
"She is an individual who works tirelessly for others,” said Melissa Dahl, Otter Tail County Public Health coordinator on aging. “She is the first to call and check in on people to make sure they are doing OK.”
The East Otter Tail County Fair is celebrating 110 years on July 22-25.

For many youths participating in one of the 15 4-H clubs in Easter Otter Tail County, the county fair usually means preparing and entering an exhibit.
The 110th East Otter Tail County Fair has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The History Museum of East Otter Tail County, Perham, is calling on all residents to share any histories, stories, legends, myths or photographs during March.
