OTTER TAIL COUNTY, MN NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND INTENT TO ADJUST BY RESOLUTION THE SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT CHARGES NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the authority granted under Minnesota Statute 400.08 and Sections 4:02(C) and 4:03 of the Otter Tail County Solid Waste Management Ordinance, that the Otter Tail County Board of Commissioners intends to adjust by resolution the Solid Waste Management Charges. The proposed adjustments to the Solid Waste Management Charges will be considered at a public meeting (in accordance with Minnesota Statute 375.51) of the Otter Tail County Board of Commissioners in the Commissioners’ Room at the Otter Tail County Government Services Center, at 515 West Fir Ave, Fergus Falls, Minnesota, at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. The meeting will also be available for viewing via Livestream. Sections 4:02(C) and 4:03 of the Otter Tail County Solid Waste Management Ordinance describe the procedures for adjusting the amount of the Solid Waste Management Service Charges. Under specific consideration will be a proposal to adjust the solid waste management service charge from $14.00 per point to $16.00 per point (increase for residential homes from $70 to $80 per year). The proposed change would become effective January 1, 2023. MNDNR PUBLIC NOTICE The MNDNR will hold an open house meeting on September 20th, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Ottertail City Community Center (93 Lake Avenue) to collect public comments on proposed changes to Northern Pike regulations on West Battle Lake and Otter Tail Lake in Otter Tail County. Proposed changes include reverting the special 24” to 36” protected slot length limit for pike on West Battle Lake to the Central Zone regulation (Possession limit 10 with not more than two over 26”. All from 22”- 26” must be immediately released. For dark house spearing-22”- 26” protected slot limit, ten fish bag with not more than two over 26” or one within 22”- 26” and one & gt; 26”.) For Otter Tail Lake, changing the 30” minimum length limit with one fish over 30” to a 22” to 30” protected slot limit, ten fish bag limit with one fish over 30”. No spearing of any northern pike within the 22” to 30” protected slot limit allowed. There will be no formal presentation during this public input meeting. Information will be provided. ORDINANCE NO. 425 AMENDING CITY CODE SECTION 113.27 AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE POSSESSION, SALE AND CONSUMPTION OF INTOXICATING AND 3.2 PERCENT MALT LIQUOR WITHIN THE CITY OF PERHAM, MINNESOTA The City of Perham does ordain as follows: Said City Code Section 113 regulating the possession, sale and consumption of intoxicating and 3.2 percent malt liquor shall be hereby amended, so as to read as follows: City Code Section 113.27 Kinds of Liquor Licenses The City of Perham does ordain as follows: (Q) Small Brewer Off-Sale Licenses may also be issued, with the approval of the commissioner, to a holder of the brewer’s license under Minn. Stat. § 340A.301, subd. 6 (c), (i) or (j) and meeting the criteria established by Minn. Stat. § 304A.29 as may be amended from time to time. The amount of malt liquor sold at off-sale under this license may not exceed 128 ounces per customer per day. Off-Sale of malt liquor shall be limited to the legal hours for off-sale at exclusive liquor stores. Packaging of malt liquor for off-sale under this license must comply with the provision of Minnesota Rules, parts 7515.1080 to 7515.1120.
