Notice is hereby given to all Dead Lake Township residents of the Annual Town Board Election to be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at the Dead Lake Township Hall. Voting hours are from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Annual Township Meeting will begin at 8:15 p.m. The Board of Canvass will be held following the Annual Meeting.
Absentee ballots are available by filling out the Absentee Ballot Request found at the Secretary of State website and mailing it to Dead Lake Township, PO Box 54, Richville, MN 56576. You must use the form for 2020. The Clerk can also email you the correct form if requested. Absentee voting will also be held on March 7, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Dead Lake Township Hall, 36928 370th St., Richville, MN 56576. Absentee voting can be done for any reason due to a change in the state law. All absentee ballots must be returned to the Clerk prior to 3:00 p.m. on March 10, 2020 in order to be considered for validation.
A sample ballot has been posted in the outside display board at the Dead Lake Township Hall if you wish to view the ballot prior to voting.
Should there be inclement weather on March 10, 2020, the Annual Election, Annual Meeting and Board of Canvass will be held on March 17, 2020 at the same times as previously noted.
