described in the Complaint herein,

TO THE ABOVE-NAMED DEFENDANTS:
1. YOU ARE BEING SUED. The Plaintiff has started a lawsuit against you. The Plaintiff's Complaint against you is on file in the Office of the Court Administrator of the above-named Court. Do not throw these papers away. They are official papers that affect your rights. You must respond to this lawsuit even though it may not yet be filed with the Court, and there may be no Court file number on this Summons.
2. YOU MUST REPLY WITHIN 21 DAYS TO PROTECT YOUR RIGHTS. You must give or mail to the person who signed this Summons a written response called and Answer within 21 days of the date on which you received this Summons. You must send a copy of your Answer to the person who signed this Summons at 1017 Broadway, P.O. Box 819, Alexandria, Minnesota 56308.
3. YOU MUST RESPOND TO EACH CLAIM. The Answer is your written response to the Plaintiff's Complaint. In your Answer, you must state whether you agree or disagree with each paragraph of the Complaint. If you believe the Plaintiff should not be given everything asked for in the Complaint, you must say so in your Answer.
4. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR CASE IF YOU DO NOT SEND A WRITTEN RESPONSE TO THE COMPLAINT TO THE PERSON WHO SIGNED THIS SUMMONS. If you do not Answer within 21 days, you will lose this case. You will not get to tell your side of the story, and the Court may decide against you and award the Plaintiff everything asked for in the Complaint. If you do not want to contest the claims stated in the Complaint, you do not need to respond. A Default Judgment can then be entered against you for the relief requested in the Complaint.
5. LEGAL ASSISTANCE. You may wish to get legal help from a lawyer. If you do not have a lawyer, the Court Administrator may have information about places where you can get legal assistance. Even if you cannot get legal help, you must still provide a written Answer to protect your rights or you may lose the case.
6. ALTERNATE DISPUTE RESOLUTION. The parties may agree to or be ordered to participate in an alternative dispute resolution process under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice. You must still send your written response to the Complaint even if you expect to use alternate means of resolving this dispute.
7. REAL ESTATE. This lawsuit may affect or bring into question title to real property located in Otter Tail County, State of Minnesota, legally described as follows:
All that part of Reserve Block D. ORIGINAL PLAT OF HENNING, said plat is on file and of record in the office of the Recorder, Otter Tail County, Minnesota, described as follows:
Commencing at the North Quarter corner of Section 23, Township 133, Range 38, said County; thence on an assumed bearing of South 01 degree 15 minutes 08 seconds West along the north-south quarter line of said Section 23, a distance of 2012.53 feet to the southwesterly right-of-way line of the Canadian Pacific Railway; thence North 50 degrees 15 minutes 56 seconds West along said southwesterly right-of-way lines, a distance of 617.80 feet; thence South 39 degrees 40 minutes 26 seconds West a distance of 174.31 feet; thence North 50 degrees 19 minutes 34 seconds West a distance of 100.00 feet to the point of beginning of the land to be described; thence South 50 degrees 19 minutes 34 seconds East a distance of 13.00 feet; thence North 39 degrees 40 minutes 26 seconds East a distance of 99.54 feet to the north southerly corner of a tract of land described in Document No. 1192840, as filed of public record in the County Recorder's office; thence North 50 degrees 18 minutes 02 seconds West along the southwesterly line of said tract of land described in Document No. 1192840, a distance of 212.87 feet to the southeasterly line of Inman Street; thence South 39 degrees 41 minutes 58 seconds West along said southeasterly line, a distance of 100.00 feet, thence South 50 degrees 25 minutes 55 seconds East a distance of 199.91 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing 21,237 square feet more or less. Subject to County State Aid Highway 67. Together with an ingress and egress easement over and across said Reserve Block D, described as follows:
Commencing at the North Quarter corner of Section 23, Township 133, Range 38, said County; thence on an assumed bearing of South 01 degree 15 minutes 08 seconds West along the north-south quarter line of said Section 23, a distance of 2012.53 feet to the southwesterly right-of-way line of the Canadian Pacific Railway; thence North 50 degrees 15 minutes 56 seconds West along said southwesterly right-of-way line, a distance of 617.80 feet; thence South 39 degrees 40 minutes 26 seconds West a distance of 174.31 feet; thence North 50 degrees 19 minutes 34 seconds West a distance of 87.00 feet; thence North 39 degrees 40 minutes 26 seconds East a distance of 99.54 feet to the most southerly corner of a tract of land described in Document No. 1192840, as filed of public record in the County Recorder's office; thence North 50 degrees 18 minutes 02 seconds West along the southwesterly line of said tract of land described in Document No. 1192840, a distance of 212.87 feet to the southeasterly line of Inman Street; thence South 39 degrees 41 minutes 58 seconds West along said southeasterly line, a distance of 100.00 feet to the point of beginning of the land to be described; thence South 50 degrees 25 minutes 55 seconds East a distance of 87.15 feet; thence North 63 degrees 37 minutes 33 seconds West a distance of 89.56 feet to said southeasterly line of Inman Street; thence North 39 degrees 41 minutes 58 seconds East along said southeasterly line, a distance of 20.44 feet to the point of beginning.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the object of this action is to obtain Judgment declaring Plaintiffs are the owners in fee dimple absolute of the above-described premises, and that the Defendants, and each of them, have no interest or estate in said property, nor lien thereon.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that no personal claim is made by Plaintiffs against any of the Defendants.
