Auditions for summer productions at AC4TA are May 14

The two summer shows planned at A Center for the Arts in Fergus Falls are "Beauty and the Beast JR" and "Fiddler on the Roof" and auditions for both are scheduled Saturday, May 14, at AC4TA's Fergus Theatre, 124 W. Lincoln Ave., downtown Fergus Falls.

Children's theater auditions for Disney's "Beauty and the Beast JR" are from 9 a.m. to noon for students entering first through 12th grade. Call AC4TA at 218-736-5453 to sign-up for an audition time in advance. Auditions will be set up every 15 minutes with several students on stage at a time.

Auditions for the summer musical, "Fiddler on the Roof," are from 1 to 4 p.m. with callbacks beginning at 4:15 p.m. if necessary. Most parts are for adults, but there are some roles for school‑age youth. Call AC4TA at 218-736-5453 to sign-up for an audition time in advance. Please come prepared with a 1 to 2-minute dramatic reading and 16-24 bars of a Broadway song.

Performance dates for "Beauty and the Beast JR" are Thursday through Sunday on June 23-26. Tickets will be $12 for adults and $6 for students. There will be two different casts. Cast A shows are Thursday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 5 p.m. Cast M shows are Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

Performance dates for "Fiddler on the Roof" are Tuesday through Sunday on July 26-31. Tickets will be $18 for adults and $6 for students. Shows on Tuesday through Saturday are at 7:30 p.m. Sunday's show is a 2 p.m. matinee.

Tickets will go on sale soon. Tickets can be purchased on our website at www.FergusArts.org; by phone at 218-736-5453; and in our box office at 124 W. Lincoln Ave., downtown Fergus Falls. Box office hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., and one hour before performances.
