The History and Cultural Association of East Otter Tail County has a few spaces left for a free hands-on mural painting class starting Monday, May 12.

The History and Cultural Association of East Otter Tail County has a few spaces left for a free hands-on mural painting class starting Monday, May 12.

The class is open to adults of all painting abilities. Space is limited.

Sessions will be held Mondays, May 12 and 19, plus some lab time where students can come in and work independently and in teams. Classes will be held in a special art area in the White Elephant Thrift Store, within the In Their Own Words Veterans Museum building.

Artwork will depict historical symbols.

All materials will be supplied for the class, though participants must be prepared to get dirty, and may bring their own flat and round natural bristle brushes, if desired.
