The History Museum of East Otter Tail County has been awarded a grant to present pop music historian, Michael Lasser, on September 23.
His program, "All the Old Familiar Places," is an entertaining presentation about popular songs of the Great Depression and World War II.
Lasser will perform at the ITOW Veterans Museum in Perham as one of the public programs scheduled for the fall in conjunction with the traveling exhibit, "Our Lives, Our Stories: America's Greatest Generation." This is a traveling exhibition made possible through NEH on the Road, a special initiative of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
Lasser's program is being funded in part by a grant from the Lake Region Arts Council through a Minnesota State Legislative appropriation.
