The 26th annual Miss Perham and the 7th annual Miss Heart of the Lakes pageant was held Friday July 30th at the Perham High School auditorium. There were four girls vying for Miss Perham and three vying for Miss Heart of the Lakes.
The night began with all the girls dancing the opening number "If I Had You" choreographed by Karlie Hoekstra. The mistress of ceremonies for the evening was Miss Heart of the Lakes 2008, Mackenzie Erickson.
The girls had their interviews in the afternoon and in and in the evening they took part in the other four areas of competition - On-Stage question, Lifestyle & Fitness, Talent, and Evening Gown.
Former Miss Heart of the Lakes and now Miss Minnesota Kathryn Knuttila wowed the crowd with her amazing piano performance.
Miss Minnesota's Outstanding Teen Katarina Akridge danced a lively Indian style dance, current Miss Polar Fest and junior at Perham High School Emily Peterson sang an Italian piece and finally upcoming piano man Patrick Murphy gave the crowd a jaw dropping performance on the piano.

Outgoing Miss Perham Jenna Strege and Miss Heart of the Lakes Lacey Erickson also played and sang for the audience. Finally, at the end of the evening Jessica Dreier was named first runner-up and Brittany Bachmann was named Miss Perham 2010. Kalli Randall was name Miss Heart of the Lakes 2010.
