This Sunday Northwoods is going "Supersize" with its annual Hot Rod Sunday Celebration and Outreach.

Every year for the past 11 years the church has played host to many racers that are on the way to the Brainerd International Raceway for their NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series. The church has been able to be a blessing to race teams and the community of Perham as they come and set up cars to display.

This year, Northwood's will have on display the Extreme Eagle Monster Truck for all to come and see, sit in, and take their pictures with. Jon Anderson the driver will be here to sign autographs and drive the truck at Northwoods Assembly.

The theme for this year's event is "How big is your God?" Everyone will experience a "chapel" service much like what happens at racetracks across the music and a message delivered by Pastor Dirk Currier.

The event begins at 10 a.m. with the chapel service and registrations. Prizes will be given away including two tickets to the Sunday NHRA Nationals in Brainerd on August 8th as well as 2 tickets to the Monster Jam in Fargo in February. Hot Wheel cars will be given out to the first 100 kids who come. After chapel, there will be food available, opportunities to view and sit in the Monster Truck as well as inflatable houses for the kids.
