The New York Mills Regional Cultural Center hosted the 2009 Minnesota State High School League Regional Art Show, which ended April 8.

Young artists from 23 regional high schools participated in the show, which featured sculpture and two dimensional art work.

The artists and their teachers were in New York Mills, April 8 for the Visual Arts Festival.

Perham's high school art program is largely part-time and after hours, under half-time art teacher Laura Moe. The Art Club has an active membership of about a dozen.
