Author Mary Wasche to visit History Museum on May 11
Local author Mary Wasche will be at the History Museum on Saturday, May 11 at 10:30 a.m.
Wasche was first published at age seventeen after winning a state writing contest. During the ensuing decades, Wasche worked as a dental hygienist, teacher, small business owner, and bank executive while continuing to be a contributing writer to national and regional publications. She lives in lakes country Minnesota with her husband.
Wasche served as a Romance Writers of America chapter president, a historical society newsletter editor, an op/ed columnist for the Mille Lacs Messenger, and has held membership in the Alaska Writers Guild, the Pacific Northwest Writers Association, 49Writers, the Independent Book Publishers Association, and several book clubs and writing groups. Her books are in the systems of Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kindle and other such entities.
Wasche is presently writing screenplays for her books, as well as creating a screenplay based on Sherlock Holmes in Victorian London. She will attend the Beverly Hills Film Festival as a screenplay finalist in April.
