Sheriff deputies, working in coordination with the state highway patrol, said the driver of a car was injured after a collision with a deer along Interstate 94, east of Pelican Rapids.

The accident took place at 11:12 p.m. on June 4. The 45-year-old Barnesville woman suffered minor injuries.

Motorcycle driver injured near Underwood

The driver of a motorcycle avoided hitting a vehicle east of Underwood. Nonetheless, he received a minor injury after laying down the bike.

Injured was a 69-year-old man from Fergus Falls.

The accident took place at the intersection of Highway 122 and Aspen Drive, at South Turtle Lake east of Underwood.

Driver crashes truck, drugs found in vehicle

Otter Tail County deputies came to the scene of an accident on Interstate 94 when a truck was on its side along Interstate 94, near Fergus Falls.

Drugs were found in the vehicle at 1:58 a.m. June 6. No details on an arrest and/or charges were immediately available.

Major damage after fire to grain elevator

A fire caused major damage to a grain elevator southeast of Erhard, and east of Elizabeth, near 300th Street. This incident took place at 3:05 a.m. on June 6.

Belt damage and other damage was reported. Area firefighters responded to the scene.

Stolen vehicle recovered

A stolen vehicle was recovered June 6 near Henning, on 196th Street south of town.

The vehicle was out of gas when found by law enforcement. Some items had been taken from inside the vehicle.

Theft of many items southeast of Underwood

Sheriff deputies reported the theft of many items from a dwelling at Fiske Lake, southeast of Underwood. The incident was reported on June 7.

Taken were a riding lawnmower, various tools, a chain saw, push mower, rifle, cordless drill, fishing equipment, two-wheel trailer and household items.

Damage to a pontoon and other vandalism was also reported to the county sheriff's office.

Fire destroys barn southwest of Perham

Old snowmobiles and older cars were destroyed inside a barn when the structure was destroyed by fire southwest of Perham.

Authorities were called to the scene at 12:31 p.m. on June 8. The location was close to Highway 125.

Thefts take place in Gorman Township

Vehicle break-ins in Gorman Township, north of Perham, resulted in the theft of two Samsung Galaxy tablets, each valued at $379.

The incidents were reported to sheriff's deputies on June 7. As of June 10 there were no suspects.

Boat flips but passengers ok

Four passengers in a boat escaped injury when the boat flipped near the West Lost Lake access, north of Underwood, on June 7.

The incident took place at 4:12 p.m. The boat was later retrieved from the water.
