Just one more meet to go until the Perham cross country teams can get back to State. The Jackets will be the favorites in both boys and girls races Friday in Bagley at the Section 8A Meet.
The girls are the defending 8A champs and have made three-straight State Meet appearances. They enter the meet as the No. 2 ranked team in Class A. Last year, they won the section crown with a score of 25 points (3-4-5-6-7). No other Section 8 team is ranked.
The girls will start at 4 p.m.

The top-2 teams and top-10 individuals from the Section Meet advance to State, which is at St. Olaf College in Northfield on Nov. 4.
