Vendors and artisans are now being sought for a unique fundraiser to be held on Saturday, August 4 in Ottertail. From 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., the yard of the St. Paul House in Ottertail will be filled with exotic birds, live music, food, crafters, and even a massage therapist giving chair massages.

The reason behind the event is the birds, many of which were adopted out of poor living conditions. All of the proceeds from the event will go to the Center for Avian Adoption, Rescue, and Education (C.A.A.R.E.).

This non-profit organization was established in 2001, and now includes over 100 members in the tri-state region. C.A.A.R.E. helped find loving permanent homes for over 100 birds in the year 2006 alone.

Parties interested in selling their wares, displaying their art, or donating an item for the silent auction should call Tammy at the St. Paul House: 218-367-2434.
