Special guest Theo Eats, of Chartwells Dining Services, visited Heart of the Lakes Elementary School students on March 22. He cheered as kids made balanced and nutritious food choices, and brought along some fresh salsas for students to sample.
A focus and attention on educating kids in making healthy food choices is why HOTL was granted a Healthier U.S. Schools Challenge award in September.
