One person was transported to the Park Rapids hospital following an industrial accident Wednesday afternoon at the Lamb-Weston RDO potato processing plant.
The accident happened at 4 p.m. in the building’s farm operationsshop east of the main plant off Highway 71 south of Park Rapids.
North Memorial Ambulance transported the injured worker to St. Joseph’s Area Health Services.
A tractor apparently fell off a loading dock or platform onto the person. Emergency crews managed to free the victim without the aid of fire department equipment or balloons to lift the tractor.
No other information was immediately available.
