A 2016 Chevrolet Silverado truck fell through the ice about 50 yards from the western shore of Otter Tail Lake at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 1. The location was near Barky’s Resort.
Otter Tail County sheriff deputies said the cab of the truck was visible above the ice. No injuries were reported.
County deputies remind county residents, and visitors, that ice conditions can change day to day. The recent warming temperatures can quickly weaken the ice, and people are urged to use extra caution when driving on ice.
