The lone occupant in a single-car rollover was seriously injured on Thursday, June 4, according to an Otter Tail County Sheriff's report.
Tory Anderson, 58, Ottertail, was traveling east on U.S. Highway 10 around 2:20 p.m. when he veered off of the roadway, crossing the median and the westbound lane of traffic, causing his car to go into the ditch, according to the report.
According to the report, after going into the ditch Anderson struck the railroad tracks, causing his car to roll.
Anderson was able to exit his car and was transported to Perham Health by Perham EMS once they arrived on the scene, according to the report. He may have veered off the roadway due to a possible medical condition, according to the report.
Authorities contacted the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway which made repairs. The vehicle was towed from the scene of the accident.
According to Sue Von Ruden, Community Relations Director at Perham Health, Anderson was treated at Perham Health and discharged.
