An Amish buggy, operated by an adult with four child passengers ages one to five, was struck from behind by a Chevrolet Impala driven by Travis Rapatt, 38, of New York Mills.
This collision took place at 6:14 p.m. on Feb. 28 north of Bluffton, in Paddock Township, in the extreme northeastern section of Otter Tail County. The exact location was the intersection of Highway 8 and 610th Avenue.
One child in the buggy sustained an apparent minor injury.
Rapatt was arrested for DWI and criminal vehicular operation. He was later scheduled to appear in county court, Fergus Falls.
