Angel of Hope Candlelight Vigil is Dec. 6

The 16th Annual Christmas Box Angel of Hope Candlelight Vigil will be 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6., at the Angel of Hope Memorial Park, at the corner of Third Avenue and Sixth Avenue Northeast in Perham.

All are welcome to attend the vigil. Candles will be provided, or attendees may bring their own battery-operated candle. People are invited to bring a white flower to place at the Angel Statue during the vigil, as well as to bring a Christmas ornament to hang on the trees that are lit up for the vigil and the Christmas season.

Refreshments and fellowship follow the vigil, across the street, at Crosspoint Alliance Church. David Howey has put together a slideshow of the children's pictures that will play during the time at the church fellowship hall. Pictures for the slideshow can be submitted to dhowey@leightonbroadcasting.com by the Nov. 27 deadline.

If the weather is too bad to be in the park, the vigil will be held in the church.
