Area riders come together for 4-wheel fun in mud

A beautiful spring day and a chance to play in the mud drew over 250 riders to a 4-wheeler fundraiser Saturday in East Otter Tail County. The Roberts hunting shack west of Butler was one of the stops on the route and featured a muddy field, which was pretty inviting to many of the riders looking to have some fun in the mud. This was the sixth year the event was held in the area and it raised over $500. Although there is no official name for the group or the event, money is donated to the Perham and New York Mills fire departments, alternating each year between the two.
