Arlene B. Heimark, 58, Detroit Lakes, MN, died Friday, July 6 at SCCI Hospital in Fargo, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, July 11 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Detroit Lakes, Father James Bernauer, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call 4 - 8 PM Tuesday, July 10 at Holy Rosary Church. The rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM with a parish prayer vigil at 7:00 PM Tuesday. The visitation will continue one hour prior to the mass on Wednesday.
Arlene Barbara Doll was born June 11, 1949 in Perham, MN to Norbert and Catherine (Berns) Doll. She was confirmed July 19, 1957 and was a 1967 graduate of Perham High School. Following graduation, Arlene worked for the Eagle's Café and the Ebling Café in Perham. Arlene was united in marriage with Fredolph "Fritz" Heimark, August 8, 1970 in rural Perham. They lived in rural Cormorant, MN prior to moving to Detroit Lakes in 1978. Arlene operated a Day Care for many years. Fritz died in 2002.
Arlene enjoyed crafts, gardening, crossword and jig saw puzzles, playing cards and cooking.
Survivors include a son, Robert "Bobby" (Tami) of Detroit Lakes; her parents Norbert and Catherine Doll of Perham; four brothers and two sisters, Bob of Grants Pass, OR, Gerald of Newark, Delaware, Larry (Lana) of Pelican Rapids, MN, Roger of Perham, Alice Doll, also of Perham, Susan (James) Langlie of Dent, MN.
