Aune Sylvia Hermanson, 82, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, died Monday, April 30, 2007, in a local nursing home. Born June 1, 1924 in Duluth, Minnesota, to Otto and Hilda Kulmala Nurmi, she was of the Finnish heritage. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond A. Hermanson.
Survivors include one daughter, Liisa Taylor of Hot Springs; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Gary Hermanson of Hawley, Minnesota, Michael and Carol Hermanson of Perham, Minnesota, Mark and Dorothy Hermanson of Royal, Arkansas and David Hermanson of Hot Springs, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Memorial service was held at 9:00 a.m. Friday, May 4, 2007, at Gross Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, Arkansas.
