A safe was stolen out of an office at Bachmann Carow Real Estate near Perham on Monday.

According to a report by the Perham Police Department, a burglar forcefully entered the building, setting off an alarm. The alarm company contacted the keyholder, who called 911.

Officers from the Perham Police Department and Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office arrived on scene and cleared the building together. They discovered evidence of forced entry, including broken glass on the front door of the building and also on an office door inside, the report states.

A safe was discovered missing from the office.

The value of the safe and its contents has not been released. No suspects were named in the report.
