Karen Ballou and Jonathan Gorentz will be married on July 1, 2006 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Vergas, MN.

Karen is the daughter of Jeff and Cheryl Ballou of Barnum, MN. She is a 2000 graduate of Barnum High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Minnesota-Crookston with a B.S. degree in Animal Science. She is currently pursuing a masters degree in Nutritional Physiology in Dairy Science at North Dakota State University.

Jonathan is the son of Steven and Annette Gorentz of Dent. He is a 2002 graduate of Perham High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Minnesota-Crookston with a B.S. in Agricultural Education and an A.A.S. degree in Animal Science.
