BEMIDJI, Minn. -- A Bemidji State University student was transported to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo after being found outside in the cold Sunday morning.
The student has been identified as Hannah Rolschau. Scott Faust, BSU director of communications and marketing, said Rolschau was a second-year education major.
"The university's primary focus at this point is Hannah's welfare and her family and her recovery," Faust said.
Sanford confirmed Rolschau was a patient Monday afternoon. A status update on her condition was not released at the request of Rolschau's family.
According to police records, an medical emergency call was made at 9:27 a.m. Sunday morning.

Bemidji Police Chief Mike Mastin did not release further details.
On Dec. 10, a BSU nursing student was found breathing but unconscious in Bemidji. She was walking to her dorm from a house party, fell in a creek and was transported to the Sanford Medical Center in Bemidji, where she later was pronounced dead from hypothermia.
