Bertha man in critical condition following Highway 10 rollover

A Bertha man is in critical condition at a St. Cloud hospital as a result of injuries sustained in a one-car rollover Sunday evening east of New York Mills.

A Bertha man is in critical condition at a St. Cloud hospital as a result of injuries sustained in a one-car rollover Sunday evening east of New York Mills.

Kevin Trosen, 20, of Bertha, was driving eastbound in the left lane on U.S. Highway 10 three miles east of NY Mills about 8 p.m. when he moved to the right lane, lost control and went into the ditch, this according to a Minnesota State Patrol report. Trosen was the only occupent in the 1993 Mercury Topaz and was ejected from the vehicle during the accident. He was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt.

New York Mills Fire & Rescue responded to the accident and Trosen was transported to Tri-County Hospital in Wadena, then airlifted to St. Cloud, where he is in critical condition.

The NY Mills Police Department, Otter Tail County Sheriffs Department and Todd County Sheriffs Office also responded to the call.
