A truck full of scrap metal broke down on Highway 10 and coasted onto Boardman Avenue in New York Mills Saturday morning. Larry Nastansky of Big Pine Lake (at right) climbed up under the hood with Art Fithen of Richville to try and fix the problem. Larry was hauling the load to Wadena when the engine quit just west of the V.F.W. "The truck is getting old just like me and we're both getting wore out," the 74-year-old Larry said of the 1958 Chevy. "I don't know which one is going to last longer."
