Father and son owners Gary and Josh Henstorf and their four legged feline friends Eric and Adam warmly welcome visitors to Bubbas Parts and Toys on Highway 78 in Ottertail. Garys wife Sheila is also one of the business partners, but doesnt share in greeting duties.
Bubbas has been in Ottertail for three years and is constantly expanding. The latest additions of live bait and fishing tackle has Gary suggesting they change the name of the business to Bubbas Bobbers, Bait, Parts & Toys!
The store carries Interstate batteries and is well stocked with Pronto auto parts. The toys include portable ice houses, underwater cameras, kneeboards, wake boards, water skis, accessories and even four-person wake tubes. Gary says they carry a full line of sporting goods, but no guns.
The comfortable 3,000 square-foot store has some surprises. Munchies and snacks on hand include Osakis Locker jerkey and John Nelsons intarsia woodwork is on display.
Bubbas is usually open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Sunday. For fishing opener weekend theyll help get anglers supplied during extended hours on Friday and Saturday, May 12 and 13 until 10 p.m.
A special June 17 open house to show off the new "bobbers, bait, and more toys" will feature door prizes, free food and drawings for a guided fishing trip in the Ottertail area and also a portable ice house.
Gary and Josh (Eric and Adam too) invite everyone to stop in and visit at 227 North 78 in Ottertail or to call (218) 367-3708 for information.
