The funeral services for Cecil H. Galbrecht, 83, Frazee, Minnesota will be Saturday, July 1, 2006 at 11a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Height of Land Church, with Reverend Richard Boehnke officiating. Burial will follow at St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled at Furey Funeral Home, Frazee, Minnesota on Friday, June 30, 2006 from 4-8 p.m., and also one hour prior to the service at the church. Cecil died Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at St. Mary's Nursing Center in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
Cecil was born to Louis and Ida (Bohne) Galbrecht on March 29, 1923 in Height of Land Township. He attended rural schools and farmed in the area until retiring.
Cecil is survived by a niece, Lois (Wayne) Jenson of East Grand Forks, MN; and two nephews, Terry (Joan) Galbrecht of Perham, MN and Gerald (LaVaye) Galbrecht of Cambridge, MN. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews, neighbors, and friends.
His parents; sister Edna; brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard and Martha, Roy and Ruth; and nephew LeRoy Galbrecht preceded him in death.
