The public is invited to attend the Christmas events held at the Perham and Dent United Methodist Churches.
Traditional lessons and carols will be presented by the choir under the direction of music director, Barbara Ebert. This service will be held on Sunday, December 23 at 9:00 a.m. at the Dent United Methodist Church, Main Street & 2nd Ave, Dent; and at 10:30 a.m. at the Perham United Methodist Church, 223 4th Ave. SE, Perham.
The Festival of Lessons and Carols is based on the traditional service held each Christmas Eve in the chapel of King's College, Cambridge, England. This service was first presented on Christmas Eve in 1918, and has been held every year since (with the exception of 1930).
Christmas Eve candlelight and communion service led by Rev. Dr. Fair Caldwell-Meeks will be held on Monday, December 24 at 4 p.m. at Dent, and 6 p.m. at Perham. All are welcome to attend.
