Mr. Dunrud,
Just a short note to say a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to you, your coaching staff and your basketball team for a fine and fair performance on Saturday. Mills can be very proud of their talent and their athleticism, their hard work and dedication. But most of all, from a fans perspective, you and your team should be proud of your good sportsmanship. Courtesy and integrity were on display Saturday in Moorhead and though there are ALWAYS questionable calls by referees, (who by the way are only human) there was no challeging the officials, no arguing, but self control on the part of the Eagle players and coaches.
I used to hate it when the elders of the communtiy would say In my day but....in my day it was every bit as important to play fair and accept victory as well as defeat with class and dignity. It is nice to see that you still encourage that attitude. And your team, cheerleaders, fans and band can say that they are all on the same page.
