Dentist Tammy Sturdevant breaks ground for her dental clinic on October 31. "We've had amazing support from the community," said Sturdevant at the event. "I'm excited to finally be getting started and to see the hole being dug." Sturdevant first began meeting with land owner Dennis Happel about opening a clinic in Perham last August.
Supporting Sturdevant and taking part in the long-awaited groundbreaking was her husband Paul, and three kids Hayden, Anna, and Zach.
"We're really glad to move to Perham and get back to rural Minnesota," Sturdevant said of her family who has been living in the Twin Cities for the past four years. Sturdevant is a Perham High School graduate, and will be receiving her dentistry degree in May from the University of Minnesota. She hopes to have the clinic open and operating by June. The clinic is in the new Happel Addition commercial development.
