Ottertail man sentenced for meth
Jordan Eugene Albright, 26, of Ottertail, was sentenced in Becker County District Court for felony fifth-degree controlled substance crime.
According to court records, on Dec. 14, 2018, the vehicle he was driving was pulled over by a trooper in Becker County for dark window tinting.
The trooper found four-tenths of a gram of meth in the vehicle and another tenth of a gram of meth in his wallet. A folding razer blade, a digital scale and a one-hitter were found on the center console. He was arrested and taken to jail.
Albright appeared in court June 19 before District Judge Jay Carlson, who stayed adjudication and continued the case. He was ordered to serve 30 days in jail, with credit for four days served. Work release privileges were granted. He was fined $1,000 plus $1,075 in court fees. He was ordered to get a chemical dependency evaluation, and follow the recommendations, including aftercare, and was placed on supervised probation for five years.
