The St. Cecilia Trio, classical chamber group, will perform music of the holiday season as well as classical music during the annual Holiday Fundraiser and Silent Auction on Dec. 9, 6-8:30 p.m.
The members of the trio include Lisa Winter of Wadena, flutist, Jackie Tellers, also of Wadena, pianist, and Fr. Peter Kirchner of Staples, cellist.
Enjoy the Mary Lingen landscape art exhibit in the gallery as well as wine, coffee, cider and good conversation. Take the opportunity to find a special gift at the annual Silent Auction. Proceeds from the event support fine arts programming at the center, and will be matched (up to $2,500) by the Farmers & Merchants State Bank of New York Mills.
Every person who is a current member as of Dec. 9 is eligible for a drawing to win a 2008 season pass to every event at the Cultural Center, or for gift certificates at the gift store. The drawing will be held during the fundraiser on Dec. 9. Need not be present to win.
