What could be more fun on a spring evening than joining friends and community members for wine, food, lively conversation and the opportunity to bid on great garden related items? On May 7 from 6-8 p.m. the public is invited to attend the fifth annual Garden Party and Silent Auction fund raiser for the New York Mills Regional Cultural Center.
Members and supporters of the center, along with regional artists, donate the fun, unique and sometimes wacky items to be auctioned off. Board members bring delicious food and wine, and voila... the stage is set for great socializing and the opportunity to pick up a Mother or Fathers Day gift while at the same time supporting the center.
This annual event helps fund the Cultural Centers summer programming including the very popular Art in Your Parks series, which served over 530 kids last summer.

This year the Heart of the Lakes Credit Union has graciously agreed to match a portion of the funds raised by the Garden Party event. Anyone interested in donating an item for the silent auction, or would like more information please contact the Cultural Center at 385-3339.
