A dog allegedly shot by a hunter was discovered dead Monday evening outside of Richville.
According to the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office, the incident is believed to have occurred around 4:30 p.m. The dog was discovered around 7 p.m.
Initial reports to the sheriff's office indicated the animal was shot by a hunter. The incident is un-der investigation.
