Donald Langren, 77, of Perham died Sunday, April 29, 2007, at Meritcare Hospital in Fargo.

Don was born July 13, 1929, in Litchfield, MN. He graduated from Litchfield High School and attended the Minneapolis School of Business. On August 22, 1954, he married Jacqueline Weiss in Great Bend, North Dakota. After their marriage he pursued a career as a sales representative for men's clothing lines, traveling Minnesota and the Dakotas where many of his customers became devoted friends. The couple eventually settled in Fergus Falls where they lived for 17 years, enjoying many years of summer life at Blanche Lake.

After his retirement, the couple spent winters in Sun Lakes, AZ, where hiking in the mountains and desert brought him much joy. Most recently they resided on Devils Lake near Perham, MN. Don was active with Stephen Ministry, Calvary Lutheran Church, Ottertail Rod and Gun and the Perham Lions Club, as well as being a charter member of the Sun Lakes Lions Club. Don will be remembered for his outgoing personality, sense of humor and love of nature, especially bird watching.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Vivian Langren.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 52 years, Jackie of Perham; daughter, Sue (Michael) Reynolds of New York; daughter, Jill (Dean) Damrau and grandson, Austin, of Battle Lake; and many nieces and nephews.
