It was a rough night at the NY Mills Sports Center last Thursday as the Eagle wrestlers closed out 2007 with a 53-13 loss to No. 4-A Frazee.
Mills trailed 10-0 when Brian Schornack got them on the board with a 13-0 win at 119 pounds over Jordan Kohler. The Hornets won the next two matches when Jordan Novak pulled off a 10-9 upset over No. 5 Mike Lucero to make the score 19-7.
From there, Frazee cruised, winning the next seven, including three by fall and one forfeit to open a 53-7 lead before Andrew Frost finished the match with a pin for the Eagles at heavyweight.
