New York Mills Homecoming plans are set for the week of Oct. 2-6. The week is filled with a number of activities and events, including coronation Monday evening and Friday's football game against Otter Tail Central.
Crowning of the 2006 Homecoming royalty is Monday at 7 p.m. in the performing arts center. The football game is Friday, 7 p.m., at Smith Park. Tailgating begins at 5:30 p.m.
Other activities during the week include a JV football game at home on Monday at 4:30 p.m. against Pillager.
Tuesday the varsity volleyball team plays on the road at Verndale; 7/8th grade volleyball is at home; Girls varsity tennis travels to Pequot Lakes and 7/8th grade football plays at home against Otter Tail Central.
Varsity volleyball faces the Menahga Braves in NY Mills on Thursday starting at 5 p.m.; 7/8th grade volleyball plays the Braves at Menahga.

Students should also be aware of upcoming activities such as a pep fest and powder puff football. Following the game on Friday night, a dance will take place at the school until 12 am for all high school students.
