NY Mills 10, Ashby 6

Jason Burg had three hits for the Eagles, while David Klinnert and Drew Schultz each had two hits. Klinnert was also the winning pitcher for Mills. He threw two innings and gave up one run on three hits. He walked two and struck out four. Jake Hendrickx pitched the third and fourth innings, and gave up two runs on two hits. He walked one and struck out three. Josh Hendrickx threw the fifth and sixth innings, giving up three runs on four hits. He walked two and struck out four. Luke Tervola pitched a scoreless seventh to close out the win.

Jake Hendrickx had two hits for the Eagles. The Hornets scored five runs (3 earned) in the first three innings off Mills starter Luke Tervola. Jon Bach pitched in relief of Tervola. Bach threw three innings and gave up one run on one hit. He walked one and struck out one. Jake Hendrickx pitched the seventh and gave up no runs on one hit, while walking one and striking out two.
