The Perham speech team competed in a large tournament hosted by Duluth-Denfeld on Saturday, Feb. 6, with 48 schools from Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota, and more than 650 competitors.

The junior high team competed on Feb. 8 at a tournament hosted by Cass-Lake Bena. Only 7th-9th graders are allowed to compete at a junior high meet.

The entire team will be gearing up for their next tournament on Saturday, Feb. 20 hosted by Underwood.

The following individuals broke into final rounds and placed at the tournament. Students who receive two bids to the National Individual Events Tournament of Champions over the course of the season will qualify to compete virtually at NIETOC in May.
