The Perham Speech team competed virtually at the 49th annual Chuck Beckman Memorial tournament hosted by Walker on March 6. Among 35 teams, Perham placed seventh.

The following individuals earned honorable mentions and ribbons:

Final rounds consist of the top six to seven speakers in the category and honor final rounds consist of the next six to seven top speakers.

The Perham Speech team also previously competed at the 16th annual Bemidji Lumberjack Invitational on Feb. 27 after a two-week hiatus. There were 28 schools and more than 500 competitors.
